Wargaming |
Wargaming is a recent hobby I have returned to since moving house. The spare room is now a devoted gaming room, and I have expidentially incresed my collection of lead and plastic miniature figurines.

Previously I had tended to use my miniature collection only as a supplement to when I ran roleplaying games of Alarae. However since my financial means is substantially more than in my early student days, I have subsequently created larger armies of figures, and decided to turn my hand to wargame rules writing.

The result was a tabletop version of Alarae. I am currently playtesting version 1.03 of this set of rules, and they are available for testing on request. The creation of this rulebook has also enabled me to take an edited look to the draft of the roleplaying game, so as to reconstruct it sometime in the near future.

Otherwise, I also play several other wargaming systems. I have recently been playtesting for Alternative Armies, and have been playing with Warhammer's Mordheim rules, as well as returning to repaint my old Warhammer 40,000 Eldar Army. |
In the last year I have painted and put together a four thousand point Lost and the Damned Chaos Army. I hope to have some pictures of my minatures online soon. |
I have also turned my hand to scenery making for tabletop wargames. You'd be surprised how many uses you can put wall paper paste to when not doing the walls! I have found some fabulous resources on the web. Go have a look at Urban Mammoth for example. |
